I have been networking and tweeting on Twitter since 2009. I am a paid freelance writer for hire and aspiring mixed media artist.

How I Use Twitter

I like to use Twitter to find out what’s happening in the lives of others: both professionally and personally.

I, however, don’t follow everyone directly. I use the “Twitter lists” to categorize people I like to check in on from time-to-time and only "directly" follow those I’ve built a relationship with.

About Me

I've been a work-at-home, stay-at-home mother for most of my adult life. Though it hasn't always been easy, I feel truly blessed to have had the opportunity to watch my children grow up, and still be able to do something for myself. Earning money from home has helped our family in so many ways....

After realizing that I had something to offer other parents, as a young mom, I started an online magazine called, "The Dabbling Mum". It was there that I shared work-from-home secrets, parenting struggles, and those wonderful ah-ha moments every parent relishes.

I created three ezines and focused each one on a niche: parenting, writing, and home business. And for awhile it was a success. But just like everything in life, I got burnt out and the stamina I had built slowly began to dwindle. Then one day I realized that I just needed to back off and let that part of the business be... if I went back to it later, fine. But if not, that was okay, too.

At first, I just took some time off, but writing always seemed to beckon me so I began concentrating on getting paid for my writing talents.

Today, I have the honor of working with some amazing work-at-home parents and small business people.
