Hi! I'm Alyice Edrich and I am a freelance writer for hire living just outside the Sioux Falls, South Dakota area. I've been a professional writer since 2000 and believe that the best writing happens when we're working as a team.

I enjoy working with small business owners who want to create a more personal relationship with their customers through content that informs, educates, and entertains as well as helps promote their products, their services, and their businesses. I also enjoy writing how-to pieces for the general public and writing for art publications and art-related websites.

I have discovered that every writer has a style they are best at and mine is casual, down-to-earth writing with just enough “know-how” thrown in. I'm not good at writing fluff or hype and I don't like writing dry sales copy.

I prefer to work with clients who want to build a long-term (even if sporadic) relationship with their writers because once the learning curve has passed and all the kinks have been worked out, I know what you expect and can produce the results you want with minimal rewrites.

While I understand that not all writers are right for all projects, I do believe that given the chance, you'll be pleased with my work. I also believe that whether you run a small operation or a large network of blogs, original/quality content is still far superior to private label articles, the cheap $7 articles you find through various writing services, or the free content you find on most article directories.

I can write articles for your print publication, blog, website, e-zine, newsletter, brochure, or other writing need. I can write on various topics, including but not limited to:

• art: crafts, mixed media, photography, writing;
• grief support: personalized eulogies, journaling techniques;
• non-fiction pieces: with expert quotes and/or back-up statistics or without them;
• small business: how-to articles, article marketing content;
• question and answer segments: conduct an interview or answer a reader's question;
• scannable web articles: short paragraphs, lots of sub-headings and/or use of bullet points; and
• personal point-of-view or essay pieces.
